Snowhawks-Tamarack Partnership

• Snowhawks and Tamarack co-run the ‘Lakehawks’ and ‘Landhawks’ programs on Saturdays and Sundays from late-May to late-June.
• The Lakehawks program provides the opportunity to specialize in water-skiing and wakeboarding.
• Landhawks participants enjoy a focus in a range of sports and adventure activities.
• Both are hosted at the Camp Tamarack site and round-trip coach bus transportation is provided.

The Toronto Flag Football League (TFFL) has been the premium flag football league in Toronto since 2002. Currently, the league caters to over 800 players, with more than thirty teams in each division, five fields, and close to 100 part-time employees and volunteers. For the last 4 years, Tamarack has operated its own football league at camp, which has been a special program that campers have looked forward to, in addition to all of the other land, water and arts activities at camp.

NEW in Summer 2011, the TFFL will be commencing its first-ever summer league up north at Camp Tamarack, and hence taking over the reins of Tamarack’s football program! The league will include divisions for campers aged 10-12 and 13-16. All players will participate in a skills combine, get a minimum of 2 games and 1 practice per week, and receive jerseys and flag belts. Coaches, referees, and the league commissioner will be TFFL-trained, or directly from the TFFL!

Campers playing in the league will get access to EVERY aspect of Tamarack’s program including tasty food, many other activities (i.e. water-skiing, rock climbing, basketball), and the opportunity to make incredible friendships and memories! We can’t wait for football and more this summer in the heart of Muskoka!
